What’s Advanced Edition?
As of Q4, 2024 Atlassian launched and Early Access Program (EAP) for selected Atlassian Marketplace Partners to start offering Apps Editions (Standard and Advanced) to Marketplace Clients. It’s expect that throughout 2025 Apps Editions will become de facto a standard for Atlassian Marketplace allowing partners to segment functionality and pricing for clients and let clients choose the solution that suits them best at a proper cost.

Data Center is Advanced Edition by default
Data Center is an Enterprise grade platform. Therefore, Release Gadgets for Jira Data Center is Advanced Edition by default and all DC client will be receiving all new standard and advanced features seamlessly.

Yes, your Jira instance need to be on New Billing Engine to be eligible for
