Where is the data located?

As of March 21, 2026

Our app is built on Atlassian Forge with remote components. This means that the majority of customer data is stored within Atlassian infrastructure, aligned with the data residency selected by the tenant. A small subset of data is currently processed and stored in AWS US East (N. Virginia). We are actively working toward full migration to a ‘Runs on Atlassian’ architecture, which will ensure all data resides within Atlassian-hosted environments.

All client data is stored in our documents store - a highly available cluster with 3x replica sets - in 3 locations - 2x Germany and 1x Finland.

Backups

Backups of our data store are generated regularly produced and stored in AWS (availability zone - US East 2 (Ohio) and Frankfurt (Germany).
