Overview
Work Items Health Check is an Atlassian Marketplace application for Jira Cloud that provides teams and project managers with an at-a-glance, data-driven view of the health of every work item. Instead of manually reviewing dozens of fields, the app automatically computes a composite health grade for each issue based on a configurable set of metrics covering flow efficiency, time tracking, milestone adherence, sprint discipline, and linked-issue dependencies.
The app surfaces a single letter grade (A through D) per issue alongside a detailed breakdown of each contributing score, enabling teams to immediately identify risks, bottlenecks, and process deviations — and act before they become blockers.
Key Capabilities
Composite health grading (A–D) driven by a weighted average of up to 8 (configurable in the future) health metrics.
8 health metrics: Lead Time, Cycle Time, Flow Efficiency, Blocked Time, Returns, Reassignments, Linked Issues, and Sprint Health.
Status flow timeline — a visual diagram showing time spent in each Jira status, with key events (flags, worklogs, sprint changes, comments) overlaid on a calendar.
Grade insights — what each grade means and what to do next
Rovo-powered AI assistance — Ask Guru integration for intelligent risk analysis and recommendations.
