Overview

Sometimes you want to measure progress of your plan items not just by completion the issues comprising the the scope but also intermediate milestones. It might be just a checklist with dates or proper milestones planned and tracked. In “Easy Peasy“ App you can define intermediate milestones for any roadmap item and track it on Roadmap and Calendar views (including the Dashboard Gadgets)

Manage milestones

Click on any item on Roadmap or Calendar to open details popup. Navigate to Milestones tab unless this is the last tab you used (will be redirected automatically)

Add milestone

Adding milestone is easy - just put a name, date and click “Add“.

Edit milestone

We support in-line editing for Milestones so pick the property you want to change and alter.

Achieved flag & date

By default all milestones are not-achieved. You manually need to check it for this to change - milestone becoming achieved and achieved date is populated automatically.

If you need to change achieved date this is also possible - just click on it and pick up a new date.

Color coding

We use some predefined color coding for milestones to visually differentiate them, namely

  • Grey - not achieved and not delayed

  • Red - Not achieved and delayed

  • Orange - achieved and delayed

  • Green - achieved and not delayed

Ordering milestones

Milestones are ordered the way you create it. To change it, just drag and drop specific row to the place you want to keep it.

Delete milestones

To delete Milestone click on “X“. The confirmation pop up will show up. Upon confirmation milestone will be permanently deleted.

Milestones on Roadmap and Calendar views (incl. Gadgets)

All the Milestones that fits the boundaries of the version / package will be outlined on the timeline. The rest of milestones with dates below “Start date” and/or above “Release date” won't be outlined.

All the “Achieved“ milestones are colored in Green. All the missed ones are depicted in Red. The future milestones are Grey’ed-out.

You can adjust milestones on the roadmap with drag-and-drop. The dates will be adjusted accordingly.

The same functionality exists in timeline Gadget.
