Data Center - Gadgets to Confluence after Jira 10

Prior to Jira 10 integration Jira Gadgets into Confluence was out of the box solution. Starting from Jira 10 Atlassian removed this feature from the product list.

As of now (Jan’25) Atlassian took on the initiative to create a standard Confluence Macros that will outline Jira Gadgets (standard and third-party) in Confluence.

The App is available in beta version and could be downloaded by the below link. We (Release Management Apps) performed an in-depth testing for all our Gadgets including performance consideration to confirm and assure it’s working as expected. Therefore, we confidently suggest the clients to start using it awaiting for the official release.

Cloud - Third Party Gadgets to Confluence

By default Atlassian Cloud does not support export of third party Gadgets (Gadgets delivered by Atlassian Marketplace Partners) to Confluence. Here, we will explain a work around to make it happen

Step 1. Create Jira Dashboard

Create a new Dashboard - the Dashboard will be included in the Confluence page, so you could add there one or multiple gadgets.

Assign correct permission to the dashboard so the relevant people can see it.

Change layout to the single-column layout!

Add your prefered gadget(s).

Switch to wallboard mode and copy URL in the browser.

Step 2. Create Confluence Page

Open the Confluence page and add the iFrame macro.

Put URL from the Wallboard and customize the size.

Save page and share with your team.
